Pitch and Q&A

Today we pitched our final idea to our class, this consisted of a plot outline, character outline, the target audience, certification and the recce. This was followed by a google slides Q&A  from classmates who questioned certain aspects of our pitch.

  1. To make the scenes appear serious we will make the character appear very sympathetic and sad making the viewers feel sorry for him making the scene appear very real.
  2. There will be photos around the house as commemorations of the father, as well having the mother verbally say she is meeting with her boyfriend.
  3. We are going to research the state as it is also about terrorism and radicalisation, we will see the strengths and the similarities with reality as well as the criticisms of it so that we don't make the same mistakes.
  4.  Yes, his father was close to him and was the only person who cared for him and ensured that he didn't turn to another darker side as he knew Harry was bullied and depressed. But since his death he cannot cope with the stress and misses his fathers companionship which causes Harry to fall for the poser.
  5. Yes, bullying from the school kids will be verbal abuse, however radicalism and terrorism will be a physical crime that harms people.
  6. No, as it will be designed to show people that bullying is wrong and that radicalism and terrorism can be performed by anyone, and this is the message we want to portray, following no stereotypes.
The entire pitch
